Dr. Kristin Chan
Dr. Kristin Chan grew up in northern Alabama, where she spent much of her childhood playing in the woods and developing a deep love for all types of animals. That early connection to nature and wildlife inspired her path toward veterinary medicine. She recently earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University in 2025.
Dr. Chan has special interests in preventative care and shelter and community medicine, and is passionate about making quality veterinary services accessible to pets from all walks of life. She is especially drawn to the powerful human-animal bond and strives to support the well-being of both pets and their families.
In her free time, Dr. Chan enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, doing puzzles, and reading. Her family includes Justin, her husband, Eustis, a sassy mini poodle mix, Copper, a large and lovable orange cat, Sandy and Piper, boisterous guinea pigs, and a colorful collection of fish.
Dr. Chan is excited to begin her veterinary career at Higley Groves Animal Hospital, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and their beloved pets.
